Welcome to my Blog

Hello All and Welcome to my blog! My journey here is very simple! It is to become an Herbalist or Herbal Practitioner! With me being pagan/Wicca I very interested in the herbal aspects of nature and  healing so taking this class will help me to learn the scientific and psychological and spiritual part of the wellness of holistic medicine and I am stoked to have such wonderful classmates and a wonderful professor to share this progress with! So Thank you for being here and a part of my journey!

  1. I don't know anything about pagan/Wicca religion, perhaps you could fill me in? I am Christian but am always interested in others belief systems in order to always keep an open mind. Thank you for sharing. One question, my son is living in WA state again and marijuana is now legal, will you be involved in any of those kind of dispensary's? Just curious what your herbal limits will be and why.

  2. Hi Jada,

I love your name by the way, it is ok, I am open minded about other religions too! Well pagan is
An adherent of a polytheistic religion in antiquity, especially when viewed in contrast to an adherent of a monotheistic religion, One who has no religion or An adherent of a religion other than Judaism, Christianity, or Islam and as for Wicca also know as Wiccan is a polytheistic Neo-Pagan nature religion inspired by various pre-Christian western European beliefs, whose central deity is a mother goddess and which includes the use of herbal magic and benign witchcraft. The Answer to your Questions is I would love to incorporate marijuana in to my practice, I wish they could legalize it every where, where I live at, NC, they don't and if they do I will be surprised. In my learning of herbs I want to learn about all and everything. Marijuana to me is a natural herb and it actually helps a lot of people with medical needs such as those with pain, cancer and aids, and so on. I know several people including my self, use it do to arthritic pain, and those who have suffered from a traumatic event in their life and prescribed pain medicine don't help! Now me I do not use it in front of my kids, I use it a night when they are in bed. I will tell ya this Jada, 7 years ago when I was pregnant with now my 6 1/2 year old, me and my husband was in a serious car accident, we where on our way to pick up my oldest daughter from her dads and some one rear ended us totaling my SUV, causing me to have my daughter 7 weeks early. After having her, she is in good health :), and over time I have serious pain and arthritis from that accident. I have no limits on on my usage of herbs, they are AMAZING and its wonderful of all the stuff you can use even with the stuff in your yard to your spice cabinet. Thank you so kindly of making a comment!
